Ana Maria Zevallos is a dedicated community leader whose professional work and volunteer service reflect a lifelong commitment to faith, education, and family. She studied Social Work at the Universidad de San Martín de Porres in Lima, Peru, and Funeral Services at the American Academy McAllister Institute in New York. Today, she is the owner and funeral director of the Ana Maria Zevallos/Skrocki Funeral Home in Perth Amboy, where she provides compassionate guidance and support to families in need.

Beyond her professional career, Ana Maria devotes her time and leadership to numerous organizations and nonprofits. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of PRAHD (Vice Chair), Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Metuchen, Raritan Bay YMCA, and Perth Amboy Catholic School.  Within her parish, St. John Paul II, she plays an active role as Parish Council and Fundraising Chair, Religious Education Coordinator, lector, and Eucharistic minister.

Ana Maria’s past service has been equally impactful. She previously served as Chairperson of the Board of Limited Jurisdiction at Holy Savior Academy in South Plainfield, where she helped strengthen Catholic education and expand its mission. In addition, she was a member of the State Board of Mortuary Science of New Jersey, Treasurer of PRAHD, a member of the Urban Enterprise Zone Advisory Board of Perth Amboy, and an active supporter of diocesan initiatives such as the Flame of Charity Dinner. She has also volunteered with the Girl Scouts, Raritan Bay Medical Center Auxiliary, and several parish and community organizations.

Through her professional work, parish involvement, and civic engagement, Ana Maria has become a trusted leader and advocate for the people of Perth Amboy and beyond. Her commitment to Catholic education, charitable service, and family values to inspire those around her.
